A multi-storey RC frame in the heart of Kingston

HYB Construction delivered the reinforced concrete frame and structural works for the Royal Exchange development — a major mixed-use regeneration scheme combining residential apartments with retail and commercial space in the centre of Kingston upon Thames. The frame supports multiple levels to exacting architectural and engineering tolerances, on a tightly constrained town-centre site.

Our scope covered full RC frame construction across multiple storeys: precision steel fixing and reinforcement installation, engineered formwork and shuttering systems, and the coordination of concrete pours and site logistics within a live urban environment. From setting out and rebar through to pour and cure, each phase was sequenced and managed for strength, finish and tolerance, in close collaboration with the engineers and main contractor.

The completed frame now forms the structural core of the development — delivered to specification, on schedule and under the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
